Mine would be 4mm!
I think most people are using 4 mm.

I thought so. I'll be starting my belly pan this weekend. I'm using coroplast and aluminum siding coil. Might get some fiberglass sheel though

Where do you buy your Coroplast at?

Check local sign shops!

I just bought mine from an online sign supply company. The only catch is they can't ship it in anything larger than 2'x4' sheets. The 6mm that I got looks like it will do the job just fine once I finally get a chance to get under the car.
With the election year coming up, there are TONS of free coroplast to be harvested from every intersection corner. Just take down the person your not voting for's campaign sign. :p

Makes a rather bountiful supply of material for libertarians and independents then.

i works somewheres that happens to have bunches of signs that are roughly 1x2 feet.
not sure of thickness exactly, and can't sell them off, but i could aquire a few of them.
So, generally speaking, signage sized stuff is good enough for a belly pan?
Seems rather lightweight, maybee even flimsy considering highway speeds

well i think i found a reason for my horrible gas mileage...
a fuel leak
which surmounted into a waterfall today as i watched my gas gauge fall
it sort of makes me wonder if i would have seen it at all with cloroplast in place...

Something tells me when you have large gas leaks you can smell them or figure it out. I mean, how often do you get a serious problem that coroplast would keep you from discovering for a prolonged period of time?

Yes because the same thing happen to me this week end.:D I had a split in the line at the fuel filter. I smelled the gas pulled over and the whole engine was soaked with gasoline. I was close to an auto parts store so figured I would change the fuel filter while I was at it. After removing half the engine componets to get to it and 3 hours later I was back on the road:mad:. So much for this tank.

I'm not obligated to do anything for anyone but myself, so suck it.
Anyway, I'm thinking about designing my belly pan to not drill any metal, but it's difficult!

oh wow...thats very dangerous...the fuel could easily ignite around the engine or exhaust....
i was lucky my leak was behind the exhaust close to the tank
i always had a fear about smokers on the highway and loose flicked butt...
but yesterday was horrible

I had a leak betwixt the injector and fuel rails that shot onto the IM/head and then vaporized and went in through my vents, woohoo.
