I ride a 2007 865cc Triumph. What kind of mpg should I be getting? I average in the 40's. I use the bike for commuting to/from work.

Sounds about right. I average about 44 mpg highway on my old 1000cc Goldwing.

That's about what my dad's Bonneville America has been getting. Cool bike but the T100 is way cooler! Have fun!

You could change your gearing and retune. But, mid 40's is right. My Tiger 955i get's 45 all the time.

I can get my 89 FZR400 into the upper 30's if I abandon sanity and I can get it into the lower 60's if I abandon fun..

Your mileage sounds about right for a moderate sized street bike ridden in a moderate manner. Going up one tooth on the countershaft sprocket might help some and you probably wouldn't miss the acceleration too much.

Probably in the ballpark. Go easy on the gas and you might do better. My '72 TR6 650 (single carb) got in the low 60s most of the time, and once or twice broke 70 mpg.
