There is a choppy chart at totalmotorcycle.com under motorcycle fuel economy guide, showing mpgs of various motorcycles. It doesn't have all models of bikes, but there are quite a few listings. The numbers are largely user contributed, and seem on par with what I have observed from friends and family who ride. I wish the list included more vintage stuff, but it's helpful.
Also, the same website has a used bike buyer's guide, which also lists the mpg as part of the specs.

ok, thanks. unfortunately they don't have my bike.

How are you guys calculating your MPG on a motorcycle? well, I guess I would have to find offical spec. on how many gallons are in my tank and how many gallons are in the resivor or it would always be an estimate.

Drive it until I get to reseve. immediately go to a gas station, so I'm not filling up the reserve tank as little as possible. Fill it up, then I have the gallons in the tank. taking into account that some of what it takes is going into the reserve. hence getting to a gas station ASAP after it dying and having to switch to the reserve tank. so with out the exact size of the tank, doing it this way my mpg will always be slightly lower then what it is.

you don't need to know how many gallons your tank holds to calculate mpg. fill your tank, set your trip meter, and next time you fill up, divide miles driven by how many gallons it takes to fill up.

The reserve is still part of the tank. The reserve just allows for picking up fuel further down the actual pick up.
