I know, that's why I'm looking for something to do. Back to it though, never taken the fenders off before so it's a bit of a mystery.

Got to work last night on some of this crap and didn't get much done for various reasons, but I'll be working on it today and it'll get done, so no complaints out of me.

First thing to move, headlight wiring:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00393.cdd.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00393.cdd.th.JPG)
Popped out my corners:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00394.9b4.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00394.9b4.JPG)
Removed the t bar (to get to bumper screws):
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00395.993.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00395.993.JPG)
They were tough to get out...
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00396.1b8.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00396.1b8.JPG)
Bumper off
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00397.1b7.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00397.1b7.JPG)
Fender off:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00399.f86.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00399.f86.JPG)

Time to get to it f'real. I need to figure out where I'm going to tuck the headlight stuff on the firewall side of things but that shouldn't be too bad.

The only write up I've ever seen on it by g0crxg0 over on h-t was taken down because he got so much whiney crap from people, it was really good, but I'll just feel it out, :)

While you are at it, maybe you can even mount the drivers seat against the front of the bumper. :p

I pull the bumper support to take the horn off but I'll be putting it back on.

Anyway, I've tucked my first wire, came in to catch some cool air and get some stuff so I can starting extending and soldering in the wiring. Easier than I thought it would be.

Also, just got an email from burns honda. They have their own "in-house" pricing but since I asked them about msrp they'll honor it for me, :), no screwing me for money on a head gasket. Wohoo.

Made some progress today, taking a break now to go shopping with my mom now that I know my dorm assignment (plus I need more shrink wrap).

A look down behind the headlight and at that ground thingy on the right, dunno what I'll do with it for sure, but I have an idea.

Got everything unplugged and hanging.
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00401.765.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00401.765.JPG)
Here's what the stuff looks like. Mmm burn blister.
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00402.6c3.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00402.6c3.JPG)
Tilt your head, this is where the wiring will be running in hidden form.
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00403.d6f.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00403.d6f.JPG)
Tore open the harness and got this.
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00404.bbf.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00404.bbf.JPG)
Remove the rubber plug from the hole I'm holding it next to to give room for the wires to come out.
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00406.99e.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00406.99e.JPG)
Pulled the wires and the firewall holder thing right through, now I've got a gap like this:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00407.5fd.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00407.5fd.JPG)
Here it is from the inside:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00408.e36.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00408.e36.JPG)
Hey, look at my wire:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00409.57d.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00409.57d.JPG)
Just looped it up into the fender brace area and ran it down the corridor to the front of the car:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00410.836.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00410.836.JPG)
This is where is exits the brace:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00411.9a6.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00411.9a6.JPG)
I'm going wire for wire on the colored stuff so I'm not labeling that, but for that ground box I'm labeling every wire so I can reattach them all the same way (not that I'm sure that's necessary):
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00412.9e3.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00412.9e3.JPG)

I'll get some more done this afternoon/tonight when I'm back from college shopping!

Everything's looking good right now.

PS: What should I use to plug the firewall hole with when I'm done that'll look bling?

It was a damn fuse. One night when it was dark I pulled one by accident and shoved it back in any old place. My wiring is lovely, everything is lovely.

What will I need them for besides the plugs on the end or the part inside the car, :p?

Anyway, yeah, it's made so little difference so far but it's keeping me busy.

And yeah, I put some shoes on after my feet burnt. They do hurt...

9 dollars for another bulb and that's done with, but I ****ed up not labeling the driver side strut plug because I forgot everything has the same colors. Hopefully they're all power or something like that, but I'll have to tear up the harness to figure it out. Tons of fun planned for the rest of this day.

Today's update sucks, but here it is. I forgot to take the important pictures, but it hasn't gone anywhere, so I still can. Woohoo I guess?

This damn ground thing all labelled up:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00413.df3.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00413.df3.JPG)
My ground mounted all hidden in the bumper area:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00414.a35.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00414.a35.JPG)
Lots of wires looking ugly, this is fixed, picture tomorrow:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00415.fc2.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00415.fc2.JPG)
Working on the strut plug. Half depinned. Should've labelled, forgot, think it turned out alright though:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00416.f1b.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00416.f1b.JPG)
Yay, the plug is free to move inside.
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00417.b8a.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00417.b8a.JPG)
Crap picture of it all wrapped up for the headlight. I'll get a better tomorrow:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00418.c5d.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00418.c5d.JPG)
Came out of the firewall where the old vss cable used to go in. I cut off the top portion to give it some breathing room and shoved all the driver strut mount wires in through here. It was a bit tough because it's behind the heat core stuff but I just used some long, thin pliers to shove it in there and it has worked out. Still need to redo the vss wiring though, *sigh*
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00419.029.th.JPG (http://images5.theimagehosting.com/DSC00419.029.JPG)

Can't think of anything else at the moment.

Well, I'm convinced! I'm going to leave my underhood wires all alone. Sooo, do you have something like that coil plastic wrap that goes around wire bundles, that you can put around the wires you are running through the various hole's? Every time you go through one, it would be prudent to put something like that around it, to minimize the liklihood of a wire getting rubbed against a square edge of sheet metal, or something like that.

Wire loom, you mean? I have everything loomed or wrapped except where it's running through the brace, though I'll prolly loom the contacts points before I put the front end back on just to make sure I don't do anything prematurely.

it's fun though, I swear.
