All I can say is WOW!

I assume the seats would need modified for more headroom.

Cool. Let me guess, the batteries are in the back. ;) It looks like wheels from a Gran Prix or something.

First thing I thought was "CRX" as well. Looks like a nice workin progress. For rear wheel arches, it looks like there is a universal wheel arch in one of the pics, and it's painted orange by the looks of it. It looks prime for some more aero mods, like rear well skirts and I'm assuming he's working on making some windows for that thing.

I suspect the whole drive train is in the back. T

about this metro

¨Dave had chopped its top, added a customfastback sloping rear end, and had gutted the thing down to 1000 lbs. In the rear, clearlyin view (I loved that part) through the windowless hatch (Lexan to be added as he gets itdone), were count 'em, three of the planned eight E-Tech motors, all with their own chaindrive to a fixed rear axle. I scanned the the drives' pulley sizes and made a quick guessat 3:50 ratio, which according to a surprised Dave Cloud, turned out to be right on themoney. Dave's planning on running the car in the M/C category, and if what I saw is anyindication, look for some new records to be set....using low voltage and wet cellbatteries!¨

Wow! amazing little car we have here, I really wish there was enough market to produce vehicles of this size/shape.

If you look at it long enough, it kinda makes the Blackflea look like it's pregnant. :)

That is slick! I'd hit it so long as it's caged.

Now just turn Basjous loose on this and you could probably go coast to coast on a D battery. :D

Cool! A "mini" CRX!

No rear suspension- hope the roads are good!

Who needs rear suspension... with rubber tires? Bolt 'em down! Hedoublehockeysticks! Go for it!:D

I am wondering did he cut the rear pillars and the firewall near the windshield and tilt the glass back with the roof or is the roof just sloped down with the glass in the normal position.

If it has the factory glass sloped more I might try doing something similar to the metro body I just got that I plan on swapping my xfi into this summer.

It looks to me like the windshield & frame are original. It may slope back a little because the rear of the car is lower.

I was wondering the same thing. I think he raked the windshield back. Look at the shape of the "blank" for his door mirror. Compare it to mine, which is pretty much equilateral:

Also, I can't see the seam between his front quarter panel and the A pillar. If you want a closer look, you can zoom in further if you click the top pic, then click it again in the wiki that hosts it.

Rather obvious now that you mention it. Yup.
