My apartment complex is well...old, and the heating is quirky at best. It's this hot water system with baseboards that go on whenever most of the place needs heat. However, I'm on the North West side of the building so I needed it sooner. Since my windows only had a view of the building across the street, a two inch foam insert was installed, where a set of drapes would have gone to block the neighbors view. A strip of soft foam weather stripping makes the fit draftproof. Although my apartment thermostat is preset at a manditory 68 and my temperatures were usually lower last year ~65-68, this year they are above 70! During the day the polystyrene lets the daylight into the room, so the lights don't need to be put on. Tip: try to get foam without some silly corporate logo on it, it's almost impossible to remove. Helps soundproof also.

I'd enjoy a picture of your window. That sounds really nice!

This is going to take a little doing, since I don't have pictures posted on the web, and they don't allow attaching or uploading.

Here is a link to a newly created website, for file transfers. One picture is displayed on the webpage, and the other is a click away, and labled Insulated Windows.

Yeah, page cannot be found error. You are probably thinking your space on verizon is publicly accessable...
I don't think it is. ...its for your viewing pleasure only.

Same here... file not found.
For images I would use a service like imageshack or pix8.net. You can then display your photos like this:
Here are the pics of the Windows in the "natural" light of the bulbs.

Now if only I can find those OBD1 to USB, do it yourself cables, to go with the $20 bucks worth of software that's supposed to turn my laptop into a OBD1 & 2 Scanner!

For 90 bucks I can supply you with the cable, attached to the ecu, with the capability of using your laptop as a scanner and being able to make changes to your fuel and ignition maps. ;-), in any case, nice windows, good deal for all the money you save.
