Well, remember way back when when I broke the bolt off in the head that holds on the rocker arm assembly? It was only 1 of 16 but I got scared off...
What does everyone think about it? I might go for it when I get back if people think it's all right (or if I get another b8 head).
Thanks for the opinions.

But it would cost money...

Take a look at my posting on removing a broken bolt. As the clencher says it is easy! Get your hands dirty and give it a shot. If you have a bit of it sticking above the head welding a nut on top is a great idea. If it broke off because it was cross thread, just drill it out and install a King Cert. Wouldn't replacing the head cost money?

Well...I got the head for free, so I'm not keen buying stuff to fix it...
It's flush with the head and slightly crooked, so I'm scared to drill it, but we'll see.

I'm thinking I may take it down to the shop where I used to work and have them play with it. I forgot that was an option, :p
I had a bolt break on me when I replaced my muffler and I couldn't get a bit to stay on it to use the extractor, kept wanting to creep to the edge, not to mention it was under the car.
