Woohoo 50+ mpg!

Well, only over like 5 mile trips from my friends house to mine. Nothing spectacular, but great to see for the Current trip MPG. I mean, I usually drive in neutral, but I've been trying for the last two days to drive without going into neutral and using engine braking (like crazy). The route has hills, so it probably has something to do with it...35-40 mph average.

Regardless, its great to see it...maybe I can use the fuel cutoff more effeciently than the .3 gph used when in neutral (Its an automatic, so I'm refraining from killing the ICE except for one part into where I work...0.8 miles :)

Yeah, I don't know what I'm talking about.

well, I can...well, the mpg can also probably be attributed to the fact that its 65 degrees in january in new York... weirdness

I have only had one tank where I surpassed the 50 MPG mark for the whole tank - it felt great and I hope to get another one or more this coming summer. Congrats.

I just have to figure out how to extend it to a full tank, but at least its possible with my car...the 5 miles isn't enough though =/

Oh well, its kickin my tank average up :)
