Where can I buy a cover fram for my back tires?

I am new to this website but have seen some black frames, that cover the back tire. I think that would be a great piece to add on a car to make it more aerodynamic. Thanks

Everyone here has made there own. You'll need to locate some 4mm coroplast or some other sturdy lightweight material. Coroplast can be found at sign makers or suppliers. I bought mine from a plastic supplier for $12 a sheet. You can grab election signs after an election for free. My framing is made from junk aluminum strips. There are construction pics in my sig.

Which is another good reason to make your own!

(I hope to make a set this spring. Five to seven angle brackets screwed to the inner edge of wheel well. Flat panel screwed to brackets. That way it will look OK if/when I take them off later. Panel screws will have to come out for tire changes.)

Yeah, skirts might get you 3% or so, so the time for them to pay off on a small car is pretty long if you buy something expensive.

I remember the older luxury cars had the rear skirts...stopped to help someone who had a flat tire change their tire fer them. Didn't know how to take the skirt off at first but figured it out pretty quick...there was a lever action that unlocked it on the inside and towards the bottom. Maybe that same tech could be used fer yer rear skirts...make a mechanism to hook up on top and lock on the bottom. :D

After doing a search...looks like my memory is going bad...guess that's what happens with you git old...er.

Looks like it hooked on the bottom and and the locking arm wedged the top in place.

I think I would end up using a fastener kinda like what you would find on a tool box or yer airbox...the wire hasp type. I would put them on the inside of the rear skirt though so it would be clean out the outside. ;)

Not sure what they are called...but they would make fer easy removal and access! ;)
