Those contests for super mileage crazy things are crazy. Hence why I called them crazy. In any case, it's so much of a waste to try and get mileage past 150 I think because the effort put into that is better spent making batteries that can go 3000 miles. I mean, it is doable to increase our car's mileage to 50 and 60 mpg, so we should do it, but I don't think any of us are looking down the road for 250mpg, but rather for a solarcharged EV we can drive wherever and accelerate as much as we want with without it costing crap or killing the environment.
