install a new radio in your 92-95 Civic
Happened to stumble upon this pdf file that shows what you need to do when you want to get the factory radio out and install a new radio. Step by step guide here:

Interesting! I've just been out installing a new JDM center console. Pulled my radio from its current spot to allow for some gauges.
