I kinda figured that SVO would be cleaner than diesel. Here's some evidence (Ben be proud) ):

V100 Golf Aces EPA Emissions Tests: A 2002 Volkswagen Golf TDi modified to run on straight Canola oil (V100) produced emissions below the EPA standards.

I'd like to know what emission catagory that this would qualify for - an LEV, SULEV , etc.
