WTB: CX/VX trans

I am looking for a CX/VX trans in good working order.
I am in Eastern TN, so someplace local or someone willing to ship is preferred.

I've got two extras. I really need to replace the input shaft bearings in them...

Once I do. I'll post them up here FS.

CX Transmission...

Now you're making me feel bad about passing up that last one that popped up in the pick-n-pull. The way everyone around here talks about the supposed "$50 HF transmissions", I didn't figure a CX to be worth anything anyway. The car did look good, however - who's to say what was wrong with this '94VX that was only somewhat stripped at the time (gone now).

*I did manage to pull the speed sensor from it's transmission though. I figured I could make that work for my superMID/scangauge...whichever works in my CRX HF.

I may also be selling the CRX HF when I return home to VA in March.

Just make sure when you by from the salvage places on car-part that it is from a VX/CX. See if you can get the VIN and carfax it or something. One was posted with 11k miles on car-part that I got. I was assured it was VX cause they were in business xx number of years and they never make mistakes blah blah blah... i have it shipped to the shop that was doing my jdm vx engine swap and they put both in. The SIL came on in fifth gear so I knew something was up. My mechanic said it was a DX tranny thats why. Called the salvage place and they said "Yeh... We'll refund you your money."
What a waste of my time. So I'm just having my old one rebuilt just to make sure. With the current DX tranny in my car right now, I'm getting 38 mpg. Hoping to see better numbers once the rebuilt VX tranny is put in.

the only way that I know of to find a $50 tranny, is to find some poor teenager who did an engine swap, and wants to get rid of the tranny that is in his parents garage, otherwise you are dealing with junk yards, and they normaly have a warenty.

matter of fact you wanna pick up in Birmingham I'll sell it for $50, I recently did a JDM B16 swap so the trans is really not much use to me... motor and all for $150 I have $300 in performance (lightweight flywheel, sticky clutch)
