Are we discussing the temperature after you parked it, engine off for a while?
Or, is the manifold hot as you are driving? If so, what is the temperature?

Yes. The colder the air the denser, ergo, the more Oxygen, hence the more fire&power, etc.
Your problem is to figure how to accomplish the above within the constraints of practality.
Back to the top, air flow cools the intake as the engine runs.
