| Description |
This is my daily driver. Completely stock D15B2 engine [DPI], power steering, and air conditioning.
Some lady pulled out in front of me and I nailed her in it in Feb 2007, destroying my aero, but I've still gotten great mileage from it.
My fuel mileage with the auto tranny was pretty good for baseline - around 36 mpg. I owed this in part to my conservative driving style [rarely do I exceed 100 km/h], overinflated tires and constant upkeep on tuneup parts. I generally keep RPM's at or below 2K.
The car now sports a 5-speed conversion with a CRX HF transmission.

Drive it until the wheels fall off of it. Then put more wheels on it and drive it some more. |
