NOTE: I am no longer updating the rest of this page look at the new website for detailed information.
Grille Block, Wheel Covers, Headlight Covers, No passenger mirror, gutted the rear of the interior and covered the bare metal with cheap carpet to make it look better. Lowered the car about 2 inches. Thin synthetic wheel bearing grease. Synthetic trans fluid.
Shaved head 0.040" for 10.5:1 compression ratio. Mild porting job on the intake and exhaust with polished exhaust ports. Polished and smoothed rough edges in the combustion chamber. Advanced cam timing 5 degrees. Ignition timing at 8 degrees. Screen type windage tray and steel crank scraper installed in the oil pan.
GM Monsoon stereo with 3.5 speakers in front and 5.5 rear with 8 inch subs in the back sides with a 500 watt amp. Freight train air horn running at 150psi to get slowpokes out of my way. (I know all this adds weight but I drive for an hour to work and an hour back so I want to have a bit of fun) |
| Planned Modifications |
Finish gutting out the interior of extra weight without making it look like crap. Lexan side and back windows. Convert all the lights except backup and headlights to LED.
Long term plans:
tube frame with a good cage and rebody it as something like a can am style car. That will solve the weight and aero all in one shot. |
