Description
This is my dedicated highway car. 98% of the mileage is put on the car is interstate.
City mileage is only 15-16 mpg so I don't drive it around town much.
Mileage before modifications was 25.3 mpg on the highway.
The worst mileage I've seen is 28.0 with winter gas and temperatures below 25 degrees.
Normal summer mileage runs between 29-30 mpg running 65 mph.
Modifications
I Auto-Rxed the motor to start.
I replaced all the fluids with synthetic fluids.
Increased the tire pressure to 40 psi from 36 psi factory recommendation.
I also added some special undercarriage modifications to improve the fuel mileage.
I limit my speed to a maximum of 65 mph.
Planned Modifications
Still looking at other mods that are cost effective.
