Except for the fudging on the limit of 35cc under Oregon law, this bicycle qualifies as a 'Motor Assisted Scooter'. In my book, it's a parallel hybrid. ThatsDax.com supplied the 2-cycle 50cc Howell frame mount motor kit, and BRING Recycling Center provided the junk bike parts and MTB frame to put it on.
What do you get when you take the best of the best from a bunch of junked bikes? Probably something akin to just getting the cheapest one Wal-Mart sells for allot less effort! But Mr. T pities the fool that shops at Wal-Mart! At least I've now got aluminum rims, aluminum cranks, a decent soft seat, and a front suspension with side-pull brakes.

| UPDATE: MTB frame is broken at the front engine mount and parked sans-motor. Planning repair of the frame and possible sale of completed bike. I really want to go electric on a much nicer bike. |
