| Description |
I purchased this Chinese scooter for $1699 w/free shipping on eBay, it was delievered to my driveway on March 26th. 2008.
Currently it has little over 7800 miles, I fill up every 150 mile or so, put in 1.4 gallon to 1.8 gallon of 87 octane fuel from gas stations.
The longest single day trip has been 262 miles, in 90+ degree heat and 80% humidity.. it took over 6 hours.. I think I lost 5 lb. of water weight during the ride. |
| Modifications |
Removed CD/Radio/MP3 player and speakers.
Removed alarm system and siren
Removed charcoal canister
Removed crankcase vent box
Changed turn signal, marker lights, dashboard background, license plate bulb and brake light bulbs to LED bulbs to reduce the electric load.
Converted headlight sockets to H4 sockets, using one 35w 3400k single output HID headlight and another 35w halogen bulb headlight.

139dp FIAAM electric horn
Upgrade to full wave bridge rectifier/regulator to increase stator electric power generation effciency

Hardwire GPS and SAE power outlets
RAM GPS mounting

Bicycle rack for scooter.. Final version as pictured.. works great for hauling my bicycle to local bike rides. Crosswind condition make scooter handling rather interesting, but only when cruising at 40-50 mph with 20+mph crosswind.

Handguards installed for winter riding, plastic mounting bracket doesn't seem that they would last long.
Replace fork oil with heavier weigh, better damping property. |
| Planned Modifications |
| Replace OEM rear shocks with something that doesn't perform like pogo stick. |
