Description
March 2011- swapped the 1.5 liter engine back into the car so I can use the 1.3 liter in my CRX HF.

May 2010- swapped in a 4 speed auto trans with locking torque converter (because of right leg amputation). Runs 2900 rpm at 70mph.

5 speed (since removed), 1.3 Liter, carb, CVCC D13 engine, SOHC, 8 valve head, not much pep.

Purchased September 2006 for $600 with 230,000 miles on it.

Repairs

both front wheel bearings and one rear wheel bearing
both front drive axles
starter

July 2007
cleaned out/rebuilt carb
new head gasket (the 1.5 CVCC is notorious for crushing the center of the head gasket when it gets hot- felpro makes a crush resistant replacement head gasket)
ring ridge was barely detectable (good news!)
valves dressed, new valve stem seals (no more smoke clouds when I take off at a stop light)
new radiator

October 2007
new oil pan gasket
new timing belt tensioner
new camshaft oil seal

December 2007
new front engine seal- the old one was hard like plastic and leaked at high speeds

November 2008
My 1.5 was still running great, but I did a 1.3 liter engine rebuild/swap. Motor came from junkyard- valve job, new piston rings and bearings.
1.3 engine specs related to FE- 10:1 compression ratio (stock) and came stock with only 1 compression ring (less friction)
Modifications
-1.3 liter engine swap (has been removed and replaced with original 1.5 liter engine
-195 degree thermostat
-tachometer
-Audiovox CS100 Cruise control
-1984 CRX HF transmission swap (mid January 07)- edit removed May 2010 (2100 rpm at 60 mph)
-Removed mudflaps
-narrower tires on 2 of the four wheels (155/80 13 instead of stock 175/75 13)
-Added bellypan beneath engine (Sept 26 2007)
-90% grill block (removed spring 2009)
-Passenger side mirror delete
-toggle switch operated cooling fan- using it again to avoid the fan coming on due to 90% grillblock
- modified mixture control system to go to maximum lean at highway cruising load using EGR vacuum (not lean at idle or full throttle)
