Description
Recently purchased this car for $400. It had a 1994 or newer junkyard engine in it with a 1993 wiring harness. A lot of things didn't match up and it was getting very poor mileage. But I swapped the intake manifold and throttle body and now everything matches up.
Modifications
155/80R13 Wheels (Stock were 155/80R12)
45 PSI in Each Tire
MPGuino
XFi Camshaft Installed
+2 Degrees Camshaft Advance (cam sprocket set to 60A setting)
Hot Air Intake (made out of coil bailing wire, covered in aluminum foil, and brown sack paper material for insulation.)
Ground wire from back of intake manifold (where sensor ground wires attach) straight to battery.


Updates:
Tested Ebay 60,000V Igniton Coil- Not 60,000V, Actually Weaker than Stock Metro Coil
Tested Water/Methanol Injection by mist through throttle body vacuum port. No noticeable results.
Planned Modifications
Raise compression to 11.0:1
Straight Pipe Muffler
Suzuki Swift 1.3L SOHC Transmission (3.52:1 Final Drive)
Custom 1" Headers each around 5 feet long (for improved low end torque)
Intake Manifold Spacer to help move torque curve lower.
Possible MegaSquirt Computer if everything else goes as planned first.
