Description
I bought this Civic VX in june 2007. Body wise it was(/is) somewhat neglected and when I drove it home there were three steel wheels and one original aloy wheels on it. Luckily the other three alloys were in the back with bad tires on them.
Shortly after I bought it I had a friend do a decent tune up, including new spark plugs, cap and rotor, fuel filter, air filter, transmission oil and engine oil. Coming home there was about half a tank left and since I was inpatient to know what the first mpg would be I filled it up again. Result 50.6 mpg of which 30 percent city and 70 percent before tune up. Result gotten with normal ciity driving and doing 65 mph on the highway.
It has four different brand of tires on it now and they make some noise whcih I am sure does not help mpg. Also been driving around with the extra weight of three steel wheels. I expect mpg to go up after I get the Kumho Touring 795 A/S in that I just ordered in size 155/80 R13. The added weight of the three steelies will also be gone then.

Modifications
Former owner put a passenger side mirror on it, which is not stock. May remove this at some point.
Planned Modifications
Saving for some OEM fog lights and in general want to bring this VX back to a very good condition including welding metal in rust areas and a good paint job (as soon as money allows).
