Description
I bought this little truck in May 2007, after impulse-shopping for a small pickup on Craigslist. I was kinda-sorta seeking a cheap Toyota with a 22R to blow my tax return on when I came across this little gem. It cost considerably more than my budget (Budget: $1000. Sambar: $3950) so I did a little research, fell in love with these kei-class trucks, and took the plunge into debt with my bank. Totally worth it! This thing is friggin hilarious to commute in!

The truck is a 1990 model, equipped with a 660cc liquid-cooled four, a five speed transmission with low range, pushbutton 4WD, 12" tires, and four wheel independent suspension.
Modifications
- 14" American Racing wheels
- 175/65-14 Semperit Winter-Grip tires
- Sony CDMP3 deck
- narrowed/shortened Previa roof rack with driving lights
Planned Modifications
I'd like to build a 4-2-1 stainless header with a can-style motorcycle muffler for the truck, add a rear tube-style bumper with a receiver hitch, install a tachometer, and upgrade the lighting (perhaps to HID.) I'm also thinking about porting my spare head and having it decked for higher compression.
