Description
I acquired this little gem from my wife, the original owner. It was her turn to pick a car, so she now drives the '06 TSX as the daily driver (see Tessie in the Garage). Teggy is the perfect project car, but unfortunately she has a 4-speed automatic. As of this entry, it has about 130,000 miles on the clock and runs like new. The best part is its handling the car can turn on a dime and the coefficient of drag is very low.

Since I got my hands on it, it has a new timing belt, water pump, EBH, fuel filter, plugs, wires, radiator, remanufactured rear caliper assemblies, K&N cone-style OEM replacement air filter, with WAI, and significantly less power.

A loose throttle cable prevented full TC lockup for most of 2006 -- repaired Mar. '07.

Driving style: Becoming more economical. Lots more engine-off coasting and use of momentum.

Previous Vehicle: 1999 Acura 3.2TL
Before that: 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII Turbo AWD (yeah, big change there)
Modifications
*Cruise Control Throttle-Limiting System (CCTLS)
*K&N Cone Filter-in-Box with a work-in-progress, temperature controlled, intake system
*PCV Oil Catch bottle (see write-up section)
*Failed Cylinder Deactivation system (again see my how-to writeup)
*ScanGuage Monitoring and Feedback
*Seafoam Cleanse x2
*192-Degree Thermostat (170 = Stock)
*LRR Michelin MXV4-Plus XSE Tires
*Tire Over-Inflation
*OEM Engine Block Heater

*Exhaust manifold heat shield delete (don't ask...)
Planned Modifications
*Really need a new exhaust: Planned OEM Type-R complete replacement with CAT
*Routine maintenance to make it last
*Low visual impact aero mods
*Push-button start/stop (for better Engine-Off Coasting)
*Much driver improvement
*Wash it
...and whatever else we come up with here at GasSavers!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot -- B18C and manual swap, roll cage, and Rally-Cross Preparations. Maybe...
