My Grandmothers old car. 60hp / 93 lb*ft indirect injection (precombustion chamber) 4-cyl diesel. 4 speed manual trans, manual steering, 4 wheel disc brakes and 4 wheel independent suspension. Cruises well at 60mph doing 3000rpm and the factory says 0-100kph takes 28.1 sec.
No EPA ratings in '71. DIN ratings are 7.5-10.5 l/100km (31.4-22.4 mpg)for "average highway travel" and 8.5 l/100km (27.7 mpg) @ 101.25km/h. I have no idea what test comes up with that because I have only seen the mileage that low once or twice when fully loaded and I don't try to hypermile this car. |
