0 | 90% city miles with lots of warm up cycles and all A/C. Probably the worst tank since I've had the car.I guess I shouldn't complain though, one of my car poolers has a 2006 LaCrosse with a 3.8 and he says he only gets 25 on the hiway. He does have a heavy foot though. | 24.93 |

0 | First fill on a work week. This is the first time I've driven to work this year when the A.C. was used everyday. Still cheaper to run the A.C. and split the driving 3 ways than to not use it,alienate riders, and end up driving all the time by myself. | 30.85 |

0 | 31.26 Work week. This was the last fillup before the hot air intake. It will hold 140 deg. F on the hiway at a 77deg. f. ambient temperature.I also added the crankcase vacuum mod. at this same time. | 31.26 |

0 | This was the first work week after the spark plug modifications. I had used these mods. before for performance reasons on other cars,so I decided to try them for mileage.Seemed to have helped a little.I shortened the ground strap back about 2/3 of the way across the center electrode. With the plug in your hand, wire end away threaded end near, looking along the plugs axis, you will now see 2/3 of the end of the center electrode. Then I cut a 45 deg. angle on both sides of the ground strap but left about 1/3 of the strap straight across. Deburr, regapped and reinstalled. These were the original A.C plugs from 1995 with 40K miles on them. | 31.28 |

0 | 30.47 Work week. I carpool with 2 other guys here in town to work and drive almost exclusively hiway miles on those weeks.Picking up passengers, driving to New Haven and back to Andrews, and dropping off passengers is a 90 mile round trip.I'll call these "work week" fillups. | 30.47 |

0 | 28.85 Short trips. On the fillups between "drive to work"weeks, the mileage is likely to be any mix of city/hiway. These will include trips to the grocery in Huntington which results in 15-20 mile round trips, pick up kid from after school activities, etc.I'll just call these "short trip" fillups. | 28.85 |

0 | 27.9 m.p.g. I started keeping track of mileage before many of the mods. were done. It's been a while, but I think I may have had part of the grille blocked at this time. | 27.90 |
