HAI then aero mods, tires at 50psi, you'll get your 40+ if you run all highway between 55-65mph but going to 70mph you'll dip way down into the low 30's.
You will probably find that during winter...

Yeah, but what annoys me is the auto manufacturers thinking we "all" want those bells and whistles.
Sure give me crush zone crash protection, airbags, and a radio would be nice... keep all your...

There's been great controversy surrounding American Lifan in recent years. From what I've read (about a year ago anyway) there's relatively ZERO dealer support, parts are knock offs of the Honda...

Yes, I already cannot get some parts to repair the bike back to 100%. I'm thinking of changing it up a bit, new headlight assembly (from a super duke) and just putting a "beek" on it instead of the...

To update all -
I bought this (http://www.gassavers.org/f64/2001-ktm-duke-2-new-to-me-14058.html) earlier this year.
Then lowsided, my first painful motorcycling experience, around mid July.

As for the thump at idle it's not terrible, less than my friend's Buell Blast 500cc single... but...

Re: How about a finished Project
Lots of "little" projects or experiments happened for quite some time while gas prices tipped $4/gal. a few years ago.

Re: New to motorcycles
I'm 6' 200lb so I can relate to your size. I did own a Ninja 250 for 2 years or so and put 5k miles on it in that time. My knees were cramped on that bike but my butt/back/shoulders were...

Re: Dodge Neon Warm Air Intake
You need to figure out if the Neon has a MAF or not.
