And like I said, they don't create any dust that I can tell on my rims.
They "state" that they are suposed to create the least dust.

All in all, they ain't Raybestos, they are Bendix. They are quiet, really firm, and don't create any dust on my application.
n0rt0npr0 - I just installed the Bendix CT-3's on my car yesterday...we'll see how the brake dust [or lack there of] is! Thanks again for the suggestion.

Around $45 for the front

Around $45 for the front pads. But Bendix brakes come with a registration certificate where your next set is free, so think of it as only costing about $22 per set.

alternative solution

Hey if your wheels under the hubcaps have small enough holes in them why not tape them shut with some clear shipping tape to keep the brake dust from coming out and and getting on the hubcaps. Something I though of last night for my own brake dust problem - I don't use my brakes much so it is not that bad.

I bought these pads for my car with SI rims, not hubcaps. My beater with hubcaps...I could care less about the brake dust.

I would be careful about using anything plastic - brake components and that whole area get VERY hot and I think clear tape could easily melt.

melting

I don't think winter time air temps will be a problem and if your rims are getting that hot you are wasting a lot of gas. Only time my Geo rims got hot was when my brake was dragging. Now down south would be a different story.
