low speed shifting

Ya know when I first got my Geo I tried lugging it and reving it and the mileage was the same but I mean reving it with light throttle. Sort of keeps it in the sweet spot where the timing is advanced and the pedal is very responsive. The xB seems to be the same and I have to let off the gas for a couple of seconds before shifting to the next higher gear so the idle will come down when I shift otherwise the engine revs higher when I put the clutch in. It has to do with the computer and it inability to take really rapid throttle changes.

I feel so left out waiting

I feel so left out waiting for the superMID to show up,

But I guess it's worth it because yoshi is fixing the instant FE bug that dan had as well as converting it to run in MPG rather than metric stuff (but I'm sure he'll have it saved so he can do either whenever).

Until then, I'll just try to take advantage of the warm weather and plan some mods so I can test like crizzy.

I hope you are not disappointed but it will still show metric. The instantaneous bug will be fixed though.

I am not, but I imagine I

I am not, but I imagine I can stick the conversion factor into the fuel whatev factor in order to make it show up mpg, yeah?

I already looked into that. You would need to multiply the fuel parameter by 2.35 to get MPG. The problem is that the acceptable range for the fuel factor is not big enough. It wont work. I just remenber that 25.5 km/L ~ 60 MPG and 30 km/L ~ 70 MPG. As long as I am over 25.5, I am a happy camper.

I wonder could it not be

I wonder could it not be placed into some other category you can change? Or possibly placed partly in one and partly another.

There are two parameters that you can change, fuel and distance. Even by changing both there is not enough range to get MPG readout. And even if you did, the distance traveled reading would be meaningless unless you applied a conversion factor.

I will be buying one of these if all of the bugs are fixed. I'm wondering if Yoshi would consider selling them through our site here. I could buy them in bulk and resell them for a small profit. I'm certain that there would be enough people in the country who would want one to justify this type of action.

We could even be the official USA distributors of the SuperMID. A support board could be created, etc.
