Filled up today with another record tank 37.36 MPG on 436 miles. Price was only 2.799

so I did a little road trip this weekend, just got back, 320 miles down to chicago, and then the return trip back, parked my car just out side of the city at a friends house and took other forms of transit from there so it was basicly all highway miles, I filled up half way on the trip down, and then filled up after I got home, I think I averaged around 65-70mph and my total mpg average on the trip was around 51mpg, that is getting closer to what it seems like it should be for this car on the highway.
I did have a bit of a tail wind for about an hour on the return trip, then the wind totaly quit, I also took my tool bag out of the car, so it was about 50 pounds lighter, this was also one of the first longer drives I've taken sense installing new bushings on the front lower control arm, I replaced them with new Honda parts when I noticed my front end wobbling, I think it added at least 5mpg to my average, and I think I still need to replace my shocks, check my ball joints, and get an alinment done again (it's been a year, and with new parts...) altho my shocks don't seem to bounce to much, the guy I got the car from said he "never replaced anything" so they could have 120,000 miles or as many as 221,000 miles if they are origonal...

I'll have to grab my note book and figure out my exact average sense replacing the bushings, and at the same time I added a new origonal grill bock (mine was missing) and new thermostat from Honda, the thermostat was impressive compared to the aftermarket ones, rubber seals, 'c' clips holding it together, all stainless and brass, weighed at least twice as much.

Looks like 1000km(600mile) barrier is very possible on my car. That alone is enough to give me some more faith.

I did test out my 0-60 last month. I forgot how nice my car sounded when i reved it up.

If i feel the need to drive cray i will to a few rally style drifts in this one gravel parking lot (I figure that is better for mpg then drag racing/ driving +100).

I still can make my wheels squeal at get excellent mpg when I coast down big twisted hills

The last time i raced someone "illegally" it was my friend's 99 grand am in october 2005. I won. I had to test the sl2's engine.

I get would destroyed by him in my old sl1.
