314 miles per hour in an Electric car

Once again
sorry if this is a repost


Dispelling all notions of what an electric car can be, a group of students from Ohio State University have developed the world's fastest electric car, attaining 314 mph on the Bonneville Salt Flats.

I bet the entire length of the car is made up of batteries.

Pretty close - I have seen photos of the insides - lots of lead bats.

I would have sworn I read somewhere that it was powered with NiMH Sub C cells, and lots of them

Enter "Buckeye Bullet" and "batteries" into a search engine and you will find that it uses over 12,000 NiMH C-cells.
