Green Car Journal

Hello -

My friend gives me this magazine that he gets for free because he knows I am an MPG nut :

http://greencar.com/

It doesn't spend too much time saying what's wrong with the automotive industry, but it does spend time highlighting the good stuff that is being done.

Check out this E85 Cobalt SS :

http://greencar.com/index.cfm?content=features66

What kind of spoiler is that? Is it a boat-tail or is it for downforce?

I wish I could show you a bigger picture of the nose :

It is totally aeroed out except for a small 6" diameter nose hole (in the "O" of ECOTEC) for letting air in. Grill Block City.

I think the rear treatment is for both downforce and boattailing. I like all the work that went into that car.

Here's a short thread about it:

FYI: Chevy Cobalt (E85) Bonneville speed record (aero mods)

Thanks! I missed that post. It shows the grill-block hole really well.
