Another contest

My wife and I are going to my camp this weekend. It's a long trip on I 95 mostly in Maine. I'll have a canoe on the roof of the F350 diesel. The canoe is aerodynamic, but it will add a lot of frontal area.

The closes mileage guess gets a 10 buck prize.

19.5!
Judging by your gaslog, 19.2 to 19.6 would be a safe betting margin.
Prove me wrong and get over 20! Canoe FTW!

I don't know the roads up there have a higher than normal drag - when I went up there I lost about 5-6 mpg.

I will say 18.5mpg since others are already taken.

A buck or doe,I don't mind, but watch for the moose.
The canoe will catch a lot of air coming up the windshield so the hydrodynamic efficiency of wetted hull surface has little to no effect on the aerodynamics of an inverted elongated fiberrglass 'parachute'.
16.6 mpg

18.938 mpg uncorrected, or 19.117 mpg corrected.
Welcome to 1984 where the facts get "rectified".

Was this a closest without going over deal? 'Cause my guess was 19.22, third post from the top.
