I've been steady-state high 30's for awhile. It must be the new tires, because I got them about 3 months ago. They are one size up from stock. I use my odometer to track my mileage, and a GPS to correct it (as published in my Gaslog). I will have to update the GPS correction every X number of months, since they will reduce their diameter over time.

Also, I have a "running start" because I have been here a year. Summer's always good times for MPG, and I was "GasSaver trained" for this summer.

I'm jealous. I can't break 40! I've gotten to 39.6 last tank ... stop teasing me. Granted I do 100% city driving, but every time I think I'm going to break it some traffic jam or monsoon rain or some such ruins things.

I have been the same way with the 30's, I have hit it a few times only because I drove some highway miles. However I also drive mostly 100% city and have been trying to break into the 30's doing that. I just might do it this tank...

If I was 100% city, I think I would be lucky to crack 35 MPG on *one* tank.
