Cool Check my new vehicle

www.gassavers.org/garage/view/969

yes, it IS an auto tranny(push button). sorry guys, really contributing a lot of CO2. but, it's larger than my last one, so fewer trips will be made hopefully.

check out my kids looking it over, and that shady character in the back of it pretending to work.

hey Treb, once in a great while i deliver to(or near) UCF. i'll look out for you as to not to run you over on your bike. lol.

the dash flashes $$ signs when driven economically. the fuel log entry is fictional, but the mpg is EXACT(spoke to the shop supervisor to get the #s).

matt,
don't know if there are EPA estimates or not(did my own est.), but it could be a good sales pitch...
hey, our truck(manufacturer #1) gets 5mpg while their truck(manufacturer #2) gets only 4.5. lol.

carlos,
thanks for the compliment. i feel bad for owner operators who pay their own fuel costs. not to mention tractor trailors prolly avg 2-3mpg(or even less).

i've been really fortunate to have been trusted to drive new trucks w/ bells and whistles. some of our older trucks are not driver friendly and not kept clean(YUK!).

I wonder what tractor trailers do in the city? Here is a topic saying 5-9MPG is what they get. However that is more than likely talking about highway driving.

Quite a monster you get to drive there!

Hmm, wonder what will do more for the mileage. The GasSavers sticker or the airtabs!

Carlos,

very cool. can you imagine the implications if this was done on all commercial trucks? more efficient trucks and advertisment about GS nation wide. could be huge.
