looks like you put snaps around the grill (rivet or screw) and it snaps on?

IMHO snaps are garbage and dangerous. seen and heard of pickup tonneaus coming off, all were snap-type. The physics, angles, and lever angles of them being the reason

More information.

Easy to attach...no drilling required...adjustable and has a bug screen underneath for summer. Snaps on the front with air coming directly at them are going to stay put...unlike maybe a snap on tonneau cover of a truck bed.

touche. pickup tonneaus are subjected to alternating push/pull on a tangent to the snap which is what unsnaps them. this is just gonna have straight on compressive force so it should be ok.
