Sabatoge reason for MPG Research being down

Mods may want to beef up security on Gas Savers server.

Note posted on Mpg Research's page.

We have given up on the old server and have purchased space on a new one. The down time has been determined to be due to sabatoge. We are in the process of upgrading the board to the latest version.

This, if all goes well, will be completed today.

Thank you,
RG

phpBB is notoriously insecure, forums using fully patched vBulletin software usually survive better.

Without fuel, they were nothing..thundering machines sputtered & stopped..Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice

No doubt someone just doesn't want no fuel saving discussions going on

Probably some script kiddies, I'd check php.ini and set that up tight as you can also.
Then there's this (assuming it's a dedi):
