Where can I get that stuff?

I noticed on some newer cars the manufacturers put rubber around the hood so air doesn't get in there and kill cd.

It looks like weatherproofing but it doesn't let the air in. I noticed this on the new camry. Where can i get that stuff so I can plug the holes between hood and fenders and etc. I still want my hood to function so I don't want to caulk it.

Can you show a picture of what you're talking about? This seems like a good idea. Mehbe like a strip of foam padding that you just kinda press into the gap and looks stock and doesn't gunk stuff up.

unfortunetly I don't have a pic. It's rubber, and you don't press it in, it was attached to the hood.

Yeah, I know, but for us,

Yeah, I know, but for us, something that would press into the gaps and not change the looks would be awesome. I imagine you could get some think black foam and just glue it around the edge of the hood so it will seal when shut.

That VW door seal stuff is

That VW door seal stuff is just what I was thinking of, looks like it'd shove right in there into the cracks and whatnot.

with this stuff we could still open our hood. Also put this on the trunk too because air gets in those cracks too.
