Little help with Aero on an Aerio

I have a 2003 Suzuki Aerio SX. the hatchback model. It has a factory "wing" on the roof on the back. I am thinking about removing it since every little bit helps MPG. I also would like any tips on what else i may beable to do to improve MPG aero wise. Thanks

Just looking at it, I would guess that there is allot more cooling area up front than that car really needs for moderate climates. Cover most of those grille openings and watch your engine temps carefully. Unless you actually race your car at a track, those brake ducts on the airdam probably aren't doing much good for you either - unless they are faux without actual openings behind them. They could probably be blocked off from behind for similar improvement.

I'd honestly say keep the factory wing. It looks like it's actually doing good, making a clean, sharp separation from the roof.

Not all wings on the rear are bad for FE. Just most.

Looking at it would say, block off some grill openings.
