Honda Guys: Stock flywheel weight stuff

Civic VX def comes with 15 pound as opposed to 18 pound, and I just confirmed the Civic CX (92-95) to be the same.

Do you suspect that the JDM d15b (d15z1 clone) is the same? I really don't want to remove my flywheel just to weigh it.

If you want a trick to get it off use your breaker bar to brace the crank pulley and then put a wrench on the flywheel bolt and stomp the wrench,

I have no idea though, really no way to tell I don't think.

i wish i had a lighter flywheel then maybe my shifts can be so much faster... but that would mean starting out there is a higher potenial for a stall correct?

Flywheel bolts come off easily with an air impact wrench (even a weak one) with no bracing of the crank.

That's the reason it's a trick and not the proper way to do it,

I don't have any air tools and I really didn't have any air tools at a stranger's house two hours from home.

The rpms drop faster, yes, but most people say they adjust to the change very quickly.
